2008 Davis Fire Crew Training Schedule:
Sorry, but no
walk-ins will be accepted at training.
All applicants must go through the hiring process
to be considered for employment. This
schedule
is only intended for those who complete the application process
and are explicitly invited to training.
All wildland
firefighter training follows the NWCG curriculum
and is conducted by certified US Forest
Service instructors.
Persons completing training will be awarded certificates of completion
transferable to all future wildland firefighting positions. Classroom
training takes place at the US Forest Service training center near Sacramento:

training days at WFTC-McClellan are held from 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM,
except for the
field exercise day, which will start at 6:00 AM and last until 10:30 PM
